Nov 2012 - US Firms competing for S. Sumatera Infrastructure
US based firms are actively seeking opportunities to invest in the logistics sector. Other areas may include mining, construction and energy amongst many others in South Sumatera. Major China corporations such as China Rail and China Huadian Corporation have already committed to major infrastructure development projects.
The presence of such heavyweight infrastructure firms together with others from the USA will greatly contribute to the near term establishment of efficient infrastructure and logistics systems in South Sumatera.
